A year on since Kilsyth Primary developed our school values and vision with Christine McGrory through The Key School Leadership Programme, HMIe* have inspected our school and accredited us as a ‘School of Empowerment.’

Our values underpin our ethos and our school moto is “work hard, be kind and amazing things will happen”, which was created during our work with The Key®. This is now fully embedded in the hearts and mind of our school and the local community and is key to us achieving this accreditation.

Thank you to The Key, our amazing pupils, dedicated staff and supportive parents. We are an AMAZING school and we have proven that AMAZING things really do happen when we work harmoniously and on purpose.

*Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education (HMIe) is the executive agency of the Scottish Government, responsible for the inspection of public and independent, primary and secondary schools, as well as further education colleges, community learning, Local Authority Education Departments and teacher education.
